It reads the material
Rush quality, motion, emotion — and the music’s drama (intro, buildup, drop, outro). The beat is a constraint. The story is the brief.
Kuts Studio
Kuts reads your rushes and your music, then proposes a cut you can still direct — Keep / Drop, generate a maquette, hand off to Final Cut, Resolve, or Premiere.
Same studio on the web, Mac, and iPhone. Switch language anytime from the top bar.
What Kuts actually does
Rush quality, motion, emotion — and the music’s drama (intro, buildup, drop, outro). The beat is a constraint. The story is the brief.
Pick a direction and a track. Kuts casts shots into the right moments instead of inventing a timeline from thin air.
A living rough cut: hold in the intro, density in the buildup, a hard hit on the drop. Then trim, swap, export.
How to use it
This is the same flow on web and in the native apps.
Create an account or log in. One workspace, same projects on every device.
From Home, start a new project — that’s your bin for rushes, music, and cuts.
Drop files on the web, or import from the Mac / iPhone app. Previews sync first; HD masters can follow.
Give Kuts a track and an intent (reel, doc, energy). That’s what the cut is built against.
In Kuts, Keep / Drop the takes that matter. Then generate a maquette — a full cut, not a beat grid.
Download a preview, or hand off FCPXML + media for Final Cut, Resolve, or Premiere.
Where it runs
kuts.studio — full studio in the browser. Best for review, generate, and export.
Native app: import local files, GPU proxies, then push HD masters from the machine that has them.
Native app (TestFlight): import from the photo library. Same account, same projects.
